Welcome to Pendleton Stables.  We are a family owned operation, breeding, raising, and training Missouri Foxtrotters since 1971.    Bob Pendleton  has been involved in everything from showing to breeding--owning such greats as Missouri Senator and Zane's Lad.   A Whisper Above Horse Training is now a part of Pendleton Stables with Rob Pendleton Bob's son as one of the primary trainers along with Cindy Carver.   Cindy has been riding horses since she was 5 years old, breaking a 2 year old stud colt when she was 12 for her first $50 job.

    The past year has flown by.   Rob and Cindy are in full swing training and staying more than busy, but enjoying it.   Cindy is now training ponies as well as gaited horses.   Rob has also branched out some with a quarter horse now and again to train for trails.   If you are wanting your horse gentler and easier to handle, that is what our goal is.    We do take any breed for training.    If you are wanting a horse for a buddy, good temperament, nice gait, and a good start under saddle, you should stop by for a visit and see what Pendleton Stables has to offer.   See our Training page for more info. 

We just had Cinderella ultrasound in foal and put her back out in the pasture with the other horses, and Rob caught this photo.   Isn't she pretty!
